Each hat is hand made in Hawaii
by master weaver, Dewey Mediarus. From Koloa,
Kauai
, and raised in
Oahu, Dewey is a true Hawaiian cultural artist, master weaver, accomplished
musician & makau “fishhook” maker of Hawaiian authenticity. Four
styles of hats are available; "Kona" style hat, Open Top
(large brim or small brim), and classic "Whitey" Harrison
style hat. Dewey's "fishhook" necklaces
are made of fossil ivory, whale bone & selected koa, each
unique in its own way. If

you may run into him around the Duke statue.
Shell hat bands also
